Vetting Process

Week 1: Initial Screening & Credential Collection

Candidate application review
Phone/virtual interview
- Basic qualifications
- Work history
- Availability/preferences
Credential check begins
- Licenses & certifications (RN, LPN, CNA, etc.)
- BLS/ACLS/PALS (as applicable)
Background check authorization obtained

Week 2: Compliance & Verification

Background check conducted
- Federal, state, OIG, and sex offender registry
Employment verification (last 2–3 employers)
Education verification
Drug screening scheduled and completed
Immunization & health records collection
- TB, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, COVID-19, Flu
- Physical exam (if required)

Week 3: Competency Evaluation & Orientation

Skills checklist completed (per specialty)
Competency testing (e.g., med administration, infection control)
EMR proficiency testing (if client-specific systems are required)
Internal orientation
- Company policies
- Workplace conduct
- HIPAA, OSHA, infection control training

Week 4: Client-Specific Prep & Final Clearance

Client-specific onboarding (if applicable)
- Additional modules or orientation videos
- EMR systems or charting protocols
Final QA review by compliance team
